Kasianchyk-Datsiuk Liudmyla

At 22, Liudmyla, the sister of a young defender stationed on the Luhansk front, presents a poignant tribute to her brother's undying spirit. Despite his youth, he chose not to pursue further education after graduating from the Petro Sagaidachny Military College of Sergeant Personnel. Instead, he bravely stands in defense of their country. As he says, "I will not sit idly by. I will stand with my comrades, be useful to them, and be there for them." Liudmyla's artwork captures her unwavering support and readiness to be there for her brother. The dark, muted colors reflect the weight of knowing her dearest is in the trenches, cold and hungry. Yet, the bold streak of blue and yellow, representing Ukraine's national colors, runs resolutely through, showing her determination and resolve. No matter the circumstances or dangers like bombardments, she is prepared to rush to his side whenever he needs her, emphasizing the bond that ties them and their shared love for their homeland.
