The wife of a missing soldier and the mother of two sons, one of whom is currently serving. They have been together for 27 years, but on May 20, 2022 her husband went missing in the Donetsk region. The absence of the missing husband and worry for her son is powerfully expressed, with this small cute cartoon dog, but with a sadness and some fear in his eyes. The artwork captures the emotional complexity of love, loss, and resilience in the face of an unsettling reality.
