Halyna Malizderska

Halyna is the mother of a fallen Hero from Rivne who bravely defended Ukraine. Following her son’s death, she plunged into deep depression, losing her sense of purpose. Her solace came in helping the unit where her son had served. She cares for each soldier like her own child, and they, in turn, lovingly call her “Mama Halyna.” She creates handmade items, donating all profits to support the military. Her strength is replenished through art therapy sessions. Her painting captures a memory of youth: a sunset over a gently flowing river, trees in bloom — the perfect moment for romance.
