The artist is 40 years old, originally from Mykolaiv region, a village called Stepove. He is undergoing rehabilitation after an injury received during hostilities. The artwork features a small duck. In his past life, the artist had a home and a small farm where he raised ducklings, chickens, rabbits, and various other animals. Reflecting on those moments, he recalls them with both warmth and pain, remembering the times when he cared for everything he could. The duck in the artwork symbolize a connection to the peaceful and nurturing aspects of life that he cherishes amidst the challenges he has faced.
