Valery Marenych

Valery, who served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named "Kholodnyi Yar" in the intelligence unit, hails from Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. With a penchant for drawing women, Valery has created over 50 paintings as part of the Art Therapy project. Valery's artwork portrays aloofness and coldness as qualities that can benefit certain women. He finds it fascinating to observe how these women savor their solitude, slowly experiencing it sip after sip, akin to the way one savors a dry white wine. Through his art, Valery invites us to contemplate the intriguing interplay between solitude and the inner strength and beauty found within these individuals.
