Alla, a wife and a mother of soldiers who both joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014, found solace in painting to distract herself from the challenges of the past nine years. Inspired by her admiration for sunsets, she painted a serene scene of the sunset on a field with poppy flowers.
