Natalia Borysenko

Natalia is a mother who tragically lost her son, Oleksandr, in September 2014 while fighting for Ukrainian freedom. Oleksandr's unit valiantly held a circular defense against overwhelming enemy forces, but he sustained fatal injuries during the battle. Natalia is also a co-founder of the Charitable Foundation "There is nothing Impossible" and the NGO "Edyna Rodyna Rivnenshchyny," providing support to families of fallen soldiers. In her artwork, Natalia depicts a starry sky, as stars symbolize dreams that help people to live. This piece serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring power of dreams and the resilience of the human spirit, even in the face of profound loss.
