Semenyuk Olga

I am 72 years old and the mother of a son who served in the 2014 defense of Ukraine and died during his service. While painting this picture I remembered the poem of of Ukrainian literature's foremost writer,  Lesya Ukrainka "I was standing and listening to Spring, The Spring was telling me so much, Was singing me a loud ringing song, But then secretly whispering to me  again. She was singing me about love, About youth, hopes and joy, Then she has sung over to me again All that my dreams sang me long time ago."
